This present work is part of an ongoing dissertation research in Mathematics and Languages, having as a main goal to locate the discourse and the implementation of the Bilingual and Intercultural Education related to educational projects in development in Latin America and in Brazil, particularly and also the pedagogical implication, resulting from those, for the indigenous communities. It tries to locate the mathematic teaching in the environment of these projects and the need for integrating the mathematic teaching together with mother tongue and Portuguese teaching, looking for a significant learning-teaching process for the students, whether being indigenous or not.
